Surya Traders is a flourishing name, that got established with a motive to become a trusted trade partner of the clients. With two years of industry experience, we started our company operations in 2019. The company is based in Bagalkot (Karnataka, India) and we cater to retail & bulk product demands of the clients across the nation.

This is the company of Mrs Manorama who comes with farmers family background. The product what we are trading here are grown by her in her own field and also grown by around 2000+ farmers in and around our village. The main aim of this venture is to address few of the issues seen in and around our village.

• Farmer will not get right price and lot of middleman makes more money than the farmer
• Even after growing and selling, need to go back and forth to get the money from the sales.

This is not serving the whole purpose and farmers are not able to get what they want and when they want. To address this, we have started this venture.

• This will give better price as we are eliminating layers of middle man
• Get instant money- when they sell. No back and forth.

To start with, we are addressing the following products:

• Turmeric- Raw which is needed for medicine purpose, Turmeric fingers etc
• Maize. Which is produced in the field
• Cotton- which is produced in the field

We have access to the large quantity. We can supply > 100 tones in a week if needed. We can also address both with transport and with out transport as well. We are also flexible on the commercial models based on the status of the buyers.

We have also noticed the yield in the field depends on the quality of soil, water and fertilizers what we use. We also noticed that , we can not do much on fertilizers and soil at this point but we can address the water. We noticed with number of tests that if the water is hard , then the yield is 30 to 40% lesser than soft water. In fact we tried out this in our field by using the machine which converts hard water into soft water and this in turn increases the yield min 20 to 30% based on the soil and fertilizer what we use. We are also dealing with supply of these machines, installations and services of these machines.

We also noticed that some of the farmers are not using the right seeds and also there is no insurance for the product what we grow in the field. We have the required permission and license to deal with this as well. We have office set up and people to look after this selling seeds, buying back the products at the right price what has been agreed and also insurance if the crop go wrong due to the reasons as well.
